Select the Wine Box: Choose a wine box that is sturdy and in good condition. You can find wooden or cardboard wine boxes at liquor stores, wineries, or online.
Prepare the Box:
Clean the wine box to remove any residue or dirt.
If desired, apply a coat of paint or stain to the box to give it a fresh look. Allow it to dry completely.
FOR THIS BOX I USED 3 COATS OF CLEAR FURNITURE WAX
Plan Charging Layout: Determine where you want to place the charging ports and power strip inside the box. Consider the positioning of the box lid when making your plan.
Drill Charging Holes: Use a power drill with an appropriate drill bit or hole saw to create holes in the wine box for the charging cables. Make sure the holes are large enough to accommodate the plugs.
Drill a hole in the back or side of the box for the power strip's cord to pass through.
Secure Power Strip: Attach the power strip or surge protector inside the box using screws. Make sure it's securely fastened and won't move around.
